Our mission
The People’s Forest Foundation is a non-profit entity that empowers individuals to protect and conserve Louisiana’s heartland forests by creating spaces for both nature and people to flourish.
How we do it
With the help of our community, we acquire land for conservation, and we also work with landowners to restore and manage their forests. Additionally, we provide nature tours to educate the public and increase environmental engagement.
Why we do it
We hope to conserve native forests, protect wildlife habitats, cultivate your curiosity about the natural world, and foster your wellness by ensuring that the Northshore forests endure. We aim to nurture a community of people that cares about conservation.
